DURATION: 8 days 7 nights
Day 01: Arrival at LEH
Early morning board flight to Leh. Upon arrival at the Leh Airport, you will be received by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Since you are arriving at 11000 ft, we strongly recommend taking complete rest on the first day where you should not indulge yourself in any strenuous activity. Rest of the day is free to acclimatize to the high altitude of Leh. Lunch, Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Excursion to Sham Valley
After breakfast, drive to Alchi.
En route visit Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Confluence of Zanskar and Indus river.
Visit Alchi Monastery and drive back to Leh.
Just before reaching Leh visit Ladakh Hall of fame.
Arrive at the hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight.
Total Distance Covered is 150 km
Day 03: Excursion to Pangong Lake
After breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake on the Indo China border.
Bask in the beauty of this beautiful locations and have a fun time there.
In the evening, return to your hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight.
Total distance covered is 280 km
Day 04: Leh - Nubra Via Khardungla Pass
Early morning, head to Nubra Valley via the World Highest Motorable road (5602 m) Khardungla pass.
Arrive at Nubra and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder.
You can enjoy the camel ride (on your own expense).
Later, if time permits, visit Hunder and Diskit monasteries and check in at Deluxe Camp.
Evening at leisure.
Overnight at the camp.
Day 05: Nubra - Leh
After Breakfast, proceed for Leh once again driving via Khardungla pass.
In the evening explore Leh bazaar for souvenir shopping.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Leh Tsomoriri/ korzok 15070ft
Early departure for Tsomo-riri Lake (alt: 15,000 ft.) driving through Chumathang (hot springs), Mahe and Puga Sumdo. Tsomoriri Lake (28 km long & about 8 km wide) is the breeding ground of many migratory birds including the rare bar-headed geese. Dinner & overnight in fixed camp or Guest House.
Day 07 : Tsomoriri-Tsokar-Taglangla-Leh (17582 ft.)-Leh-approx 200 kms)
After breakfast retrace the route down to Puga Sumdo and then follow the road across the Polokongka Pass (4920 metres) to visit Tsokar Lake, a salt lake system in the Rupsho plateau which is home of the Changpa nomads and support many rare wild life species. After sightseeing of the area take the Manali-Leh road to return to Leh, crossing Taglang-la (alt: 17,585ft) en-route. Arrive hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight .
Day 08 : Departure Leh
Leave on time for Leh airport to board your flight back home with sweet memories.
